Role of Educational Institutions in Mentoring Young Entrepreneurs

 Higher educational institutes may play an important role for creation of self-employment so that youths instead of searching job may take up self-employment as young entrepreneur. In this regard, in addition to discussing theoretical aspects about meaning, different types of enterprises etc., cases based on field study and Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) have been discussed in this article. Further, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India has initiated scheme for entrepreneurship development. The important issue of the Scheme is that entrepreneurship education will be integrated into the mainstream curriculum in 3,000 colleges around India.
