An Organisational Study on Stress in Work Place in Textile Industry, Chennai

In this introduction to the special issue, the current key issues in the area of occupational stress and its management are summarized. These include the link between stress and ill health, job stressors and strain outcomes, work-life balance and individual worker characteristics and the experience of occupational stress. The aim of the study is to find out the stress in to analyse the importance of interventional strategies at organizational level to manage stress among employees. The scope of the study has been limited to the impact of the employees stress .Finally i conclude with the work stress is more which affect both physically and psychologically well-being of any human.
